She doesn't have a scanner but she typed up the article..or snippet for me and sent it:
After the eight year wait social distortion put their fans through (between 1996?s white light, white heat, white trash and 2004?s sex, love, & rock ?n? roll), front man Mike Ness is looking to slash that timeframe in half with next year?s effort. ?We?re all trying to be a little more prolific.? Says Ness,?but on the other hand, I?ve never been a one-album-a-year guy; I feel that?s the way mediocrity occurs.?
For LP7, Ness has been combing demos from the early 90?s for inspiration. ?There?s a lot of songs that just never got finished, and sometimes that?s the best stuff.? he says. Hoping to enter the studio once the band finally come off the road in mid-February, Ness plans to record 12 to 13 songs.Tracks will include ?Road Zombie? and ?You Can?t Take It With You,? which is about ?how we work hard our whole lives and have credit cards and savings and we collect all this shit; but no matter what you?re worth, we all go back to the earth.? If that?s not enough to excite fans, Ness says he?s working on a new solo album for a potential ?08 release and tour. When asked how he approaches solo versus a Social D show, Ness says with a laugh, ?It?s just switching hats - I gotta put a cowboy hat on.?

I'm loving the shot too. I wish I could tell you. I don't really read that magazine because when I used to get it back a few years ago it was about recent rock bands and they didn't spark my interest much. I asked my friend if AP was a good source for music and she isnt sure. I'm hoping it is. >_>

I remember the statement from another interview that is on this board, that he doesn't work on new stuff while he plays live shows and that would continue until february. so that means at the moment he ain't working on nothing.

Yeah. I thought this article said they'd start in February =\
I asked someone else about AP and they say it's a reliable source. Again, I don't know myself if it is.
